These terms apply when you use charblox.com or buy from it. The site is operated by Terra Earth Inc. (“CHARBLOX”, “we”, “us”), Los Angeles, California. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Orders

All prices are in US dollars. Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship it. We may refuse or cancel any order, including orders that appear to be for resale, orders with limited stock, or orders with a pricing or description error. If we cancel an order you’ve paid for, we’ll refund you in full.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through Stripe. You confirm that you’re authorized to use the payment method you provide.

Shipping, returns and refunds

Shipping is covered by our Shipping Policy. Cancellations, damaged items and refunds are covered by our Returns & Refunds Policy. Once an order has shipped, we don’t offer refunds.

Safe use

CHARBLOX is charcoal for cooking fires. Burning charcoal produces carbon monoxide, which can kill. Never burn charcoal indoors, in a tent, vehicle, garage or any enclosed space. Use it only in equipment designed for charcoal, in a well-ventilated area, away from anything flammable. Never leave a fire unattended, and keep children and pets away. Never use gasoline to light charcoal. Let ashes cool completely before you dispose of them. You’re responsible for following your equipment maker’s instructions and any local fire rules.

Product information

We try to describe our products accurately. Burn times, loads and heat are typical results. Yours will vary with your equipment, airflow and conditions. Customer reviews on this site are the reviewers’ own opinions.

The text, photos, logos and design of this site belong to Terra Earth Inc. or are used with permission. CHARBLOX is a trademark of Terra Earth Inc. Please don’t copy or reuse them without our written permission.

The site and products are provided “as is” to the fullest extent the law allows. We don’t promise that the site will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to a product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted here, with the date at the top, applies to orders placed after it’s posted.
